Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is an action game in the third person, which puts you in the role of agent Sam Fisher, an expert in infiltration techniques and weapons handling, who has a very important mission: rescue two members of the CIA held by a terrorist group.

Although it's an action game, Splinter Cell is developed in a mostly quiet way, as your agent must not be found and must be, at all times, invisible to others.
